Somatic Craniosacral© · Quiet, light-touch work that helps your nervous system exhale.

What is craniosacral therapy?

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that uses very light touch around the head, spine and sacrum to help your nervous system settle. Somatic Craniosacral© is Shandra Artura’s integrative version: biodynamic touch and energetic focus from feet to head, with brief dialogue to notice what your body is showing us.

Who Somatic Craniosacral© is for

  • Wired and tired at the same time
  • Sensitive to pressure or not ready for deep work
  • Carrying tension in your head, jaw or neck
  • After a big stretch of life stress
  • Babies to 100+

What to expect in your Somatic Craniosacral© session

You stay fully clothed on the table. The touch is very light, and much of the session is stillness. There’s brief conversation about what you notice, but no coaching or processing. Sessions run 60-90 minutes. All clients notice a distinct change in their nervous system state; a slowing down of sorts. Many clients leave deeply rested; sometimes feelings surface, and that is normal too.
